Characters in The Paratime Series
All persons in the Paratime stories have names where the family name is first instead of the pattern we are used to. For example Verkan Vall is called Vall by his friends, Hadron Dalla is known as Dalla to her friends and so on. It is also the case that nearly all male names have a two-syllable family name and a one-syllable personal name.
