The single was released on 22 April 2002 and during its first week it reached a peak position of #2 in the UK singles chart, remaining within the Top 40 for 11 weeks until mid-July. In Ireland it had a similar level of success with a high position of #5. It also made it into the top 20 of the European Hot 100 Singles chart, the most popular songs across Europe at that time, at #14.
