Omega was born on the town of Bonao, Dominican Republic son of Ercilia de La Rosa and Sergio Peter. He grew up in Pantoja, one of the neighborhoods of central Santo Domingo, the capital of the country, where he introduced himself to the genre. Is currently married to Miguelina Sanche, they have two daughters Alejandra and Mariela Sanche.
