History
The school's history in many ways parallels that of many American suburban high schools as it saw changes due to changes in demographics, changes due to the world wars, and changes due to financial difficulties. The school has also seen its share of challenges, ranging from student membership in secret societies to the issues of homosexuals, women, and African-Americans.
