Determining Nuclear Binding Energy
Calculation can be employed to determine the nuclear binding energy of nuclei. The calculation uses three general steps:
- Determining the mass defect
- Conversion of mass defect into energy
- Expressing nuclear binding energy as energy per mole of atoms, or as energy per nucleon.
