Famous quotes containing the words early, life and/or education:

Progress would not have been the rarity it is if the early food had not been the late poison.
    Walter Bagehot (1826–1877)

life is a trick, life is a kitten in a sack.
    Anne Sexton (1928–1974)

It is not every man who can be a Christian, even in a very moderate sense, whatever education you give him. It is a matter of constitution and temperament, after all. It is not every man who can be a free man, even.
    Henry David Thoreau (1817–1862)
