Newcastle-under-Lyme College is a further education college in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England. The current Principal is Karen Dobson.
The college is housed in a new campus on Knutton Lane and offers academic and vocational courses. The new campus contains an HE centre with connections to Staffordshire University, and high-quality sports and engineering facilities.
The college was formed as a tertiary college in 1986. However, curriculum provision has now broadened to such an extent and includes a wide range of community and outreach work, university access programmes and adult education that the term “general further education” college better describes its business.
Newcastle-under-Lyme is a North Staffordshire town with a population of 123,100, although the conurbation of Stoke-on-Trent and Newcastle-under-Lyme, together with the Staffordshire Moorlands, accounts for a population of more than 500,000 and it is from this wider catchment area that the College draws the majority of its students.

Famous quotes containing the word college:
“I never went near the Wellesley College chapel in my four years there, but I am still amazed at the amount of Christian charity that school stuck us all with, a kind of glazed politeness in the face of boredom and stupidity. Tolerance, in the worst sense of the word.... How marvelous it would have been to go to a womens college that encouraged impoliteness, that rewarded aggression, that encouraged argument.”
—Nora Ephron (b. 1941)
