Pension System

As of 2012, the SUNY police is the only state police agency that does not participate in the police and fireman's pension system. The SUNY police do not receive extra pay for nighttime shifts, a benefit granted to others state employees.

The professional celebrity, male and female, is the crowning result of the star system of a society that makes a fetish of competition. C. Wright Mills (1916–1962)
