Early Life and Family
Atias was born in Haifa, Israel, to parents of Moroccan Jewish descent. Atias appeared on the youth TV show "Out of Focus" at age 15, although plans of serving in the Israeli Defense Forces were cut short with a diagnosis of meningitis at age 17. Atias instead pursued modeling in Germany and then Italy, where she was first discovered and became a model for Roberto Cavalli.
A few of her achievements include testimonial nomination by the City of Milan to be the official spokeswoman leading the campaigns against graffiti and animal cruelty for 2005-06. Following her success abroad, Moran was cast in the Israeli "Strauss" commercial and chosen to lead the "Renuar" campaign. She has also won the title of Miss Israel.

Famous quotes containing the words early, life and/or family:
“We have been told over and over about the importance of bonding to our children. Rarely do we hear about the skill of letting go, or, as one parent said, that we raise our children to leave us. Early childhood, as our kids gain skills and eagerly want some distance from us, is a time to build a kind of adult-child balance which permits both of us room.”
—Joan Sheingold Ditzion (20th century)
“Thou gavst me life, but mortal; for that one
Favour Ill make full satisfaction:
For my life mortal, rise from out thy hearse,
And take a life immortal from my verse.”
—Robert Herrick (15911674)
“Nothing strengthens the judgment and quickens the conscience like individual responsibility. Nothing adds such dignity to character as the recognition of ones self-sovereignty; the right to an equal place, everywhere concededa place earned by personal merit, not an artificial attainment by inheritance, wealth, family and position.”
—Elizabeth Cady Stanton (18151902)
