Location
The Miranis are mainly settled in the southern Pakistani province of Sindh, In Sindh They are living in Larkana, Dadu, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Shikarpur, Qambar Shahdadkot, Umerkot, Ghotki, Khairpur, Hyderabad, Jamshoro as well as Karachi and speak Sindhi language. In Balochistan, a dam named after the tribe is Mirani Dam which is located in the Mirani area of Balochistan, In Balochistan they speak Balochi language. The Mirani Baloch tribe has also settled in areas of the South of Punjab, mainly in Dera Ghazi Khan District and Layyah District, where they speak Seraiki language. The tribe's place of origin is basically Syrian and Iranian regions inhabiting visible population of Baloch people, who migrated to Iranian provinces, mainly Hormozgān, Kermān, South Khorasan, Ardabil, Sistan and Baluchestan provinces of Iran and Sindh, Balochistan, provinces of Pakistan.
