Miguel Angel Galluzzi

Miguel Angel Galluzzi (Buenos Aires, 1959) is an industrial designer specializing in motorcycle design who created the Ducati Monster, an "instant icon that singlehandedly launched the naked bike niche," and "became the company's best selling and most profitable model line and carried the company through many lean years," possibly saving them from ruin. The idea of the minimalist Monster began with Galluzzi thinking, "All you need is a saddle, tank, engine, two wheels and handlebars". Monsters eventually accounted for two-thirds or more of Ducati's output.

Famous quotes containing the word angel:

A turkey is more occult and awful than all the angels and archangels. In so far as God has partly revealed to us an angelic world, he has partly told us what an angel means. But God has never told us what a turkey means. And if you go and stare at a live turkey for an hour or two, you will find by the end of it that the enigma has rather increased than diminished.
    Gilbert Keith Chesterton (1874–1936)
