History

In 2005, Microsoft released UIA as a successor to the older Microsoft Active Accessibility (MSAA) framework.

UIA has been supported in Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, and Windows Server 2008. UIA has been released in Windows 7 as part of the new Windows Automation API framework, where UIA is a subset of that framework.

Famous quotes containing the word history:

Like their personal lives, women’s history is fragmented, interrupted; a shadow history of human beings whose existence has been shaped by the efforts and the demands of others.
    Elizabeth Janeway (b. 1913)

History is the present. That’s why every generation writes it anew. But what most people think of as history is its end product, myth.
    —E.L. (Edgar Lawrence)

The myth of independence from the mother is abandoned in mid- life as women learn new routes around the mother—both the mother without and the mother within. A mid-life daughter may reengage with a mother or put new controls on care and set limits to love. But whatever she does, her child’s history is never finished.
    Terri Apter (20th century)
