Mexican Hairy Dwarf Porcupine

The Mexican hairy dwarf porcupine or Mexican tree porcupine (Sphiggurus mexicanus) is a species of rodent in the family Erethizontidae. It is found in Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Panama, possibly Belize, and possibly Nicaragua.
