Manama Club's name means "Blue Bird" Manama Sporting Club was associated in Bahrain 1946. Manama Club had an important role in changing the view of sport in Bahrain. Manama Club was the first Bahrain soccer team to play in the Asian competitions in the Asian Club Championship 1971. The club's sports department specializes in buying and selling of young players from Africa and Europe.
