Loughlin was married to film producer and investment banker Michael R. Burns from 1989 to 1996. In 1997, Loughlin married fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, the creator of the Mossimo clothing line. They have two daughters together, Isabella Rose Giannulli (born September 16, 1998) and Olivia Jade Giannulli (born September 28, 1999).
