This is a list of islands of the Republic of China—more usually known as Taiwan—classified into various island groups. The largest island is Taiwan itself, formerly known as Formosa, which now makes up most of the territory of the Republic of China. Islands that are actively claimed by the ROC but not administered, such as the Senkaku Islands and most of South China Sea Islands, are excluded from the list.
