List of Graphs - Web

The web graph Wn,r is a graph consisting of r concentric copies of the cycle graph Cn, with corresponding vertices connected by "spokes". Thus Wn,1 is the same graph as Cn, and Wn,2 is a prism.

A web graph has also been defined as a prism graph Yn+1, 3, with the edges of the outer cycle removed.

Famous quotes containing the word web:

Any newspaper, from the first line to the last, is nothing but a web of horrors.... I cannot understand how an innocent hand can touch a newspaper without convulsing in disgust.
    Charles Baudelaire (1821–1867)

Our friendships hurry to short and poor conclusions, because we have made them a texture of wine and dreams, instead of the tough fibre of the human heart. The laws of friendship are austere and eternal, of one web with the laws of nature and of morals.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882)

For us necessity is not as of old an image without us, with whom we can do warfare; it is a magic web woven through and through us, like that magnetic system of which modern science speaks, penetrating us with a network subtler than our subtlest nerves, yet bearing in it the central forces of the world.
    Walter Pater (1839–1894)
