Lisa uses adaptations of Success Within to speak to businesses and women's groups. She also speaks to non-profit groups that support therapeutic horseback riding for people with disabilities. She trains horses for therapeutic facilities in Tennessee and was one of the first to bridge natural horsemanship and the equine assisted activities and therapies community. She is also a registered level PATH (Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship) instructor, and travels nationwide giving horse clinics and seminars that help people learn about themselves through lessons from the horse herd. In 2007 she was chosen by ARIA (American Riding Instructor's Association) as one of the Top 50 riding instructors in the nation.

Famous quotes containing the word horses:
“The poet alone knows astronomy, chemistry, vegetation, and animation, for he does not stop at these facts, but employs them as signs. He knows why the plain, or meadow of space, was strewn with these flowers we call suns, and moons, and stars; why the great deep is adorned with animals, with men, and gods; for, in every word he speaks he rides on them as the horses of thought.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“Since thentis Centuriesand yet
Feels shorter than the Day
I first surmised the Horses Heads
Were toward Eternity”
—Emily Dickinson (18301886)
“I have just read your dispatch about sore tongued and fatiegued [sic] horses. Will you pardon me for asking what the horses of your army have done since the battle of Antietem that fatigue anything?”
—Abraham Lincoln (18091865)
