LISA+ is a traffic engineering software for the planning and management of signalized intersections. LISA+ supports the traffic engineer to plan and evaluate signalized intersections, uncontrolled intersections and green waves. The microscopic simulation enables the traffic engineer to develop signal control plans and to test them with real flow values from traffic counts. The calculation algorithms for tailback and wait times conform to the German HBS 2001, a traffic engineering manual comparable to the American Highway Capacity Manual (HCM).
