Valentine graduated from the private all-girls school Incarnate Word Academy High School in 1973. Valentine went on to graduate from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri in 1978 with a double major in Fashion Merchandising and Business Administration. She later graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center in Tulsa Oklahoma.
