Jesus Creates Birds
Jesus forms birds out of clay.
Quran
| “ | I fashion for you out of clay the likeness of a bird, and I breathe into and it is a bird by permission of Allah ] | ” |
This parallels an episode in the apocryphal Infancy Gospel of Thomas where he does the same:
Infancy Gospel of Thomas
| “ | then made soft clay and shaped it into twelve sparrows. | ” |
The Injilu 't Tufuliyyah, also known as the Infancy Gospel of Thomas and the Gospel of the Infancy of Jesus Christ, was written in the middle of the 2nd century.

Famous quotes containing the words jesus, creates and/or birds:
“If Jesus, or his likeness, should now visit the earth, what church of the many which now go by his name would he enter? Or, if tempted by curiosity, he should incline to look into all, which do you think would not shut the door in his face?... It seems to me ... that as one who loved peace, taught industry, equality, union, and love, one towards another, Jesus were he alive at this day, would recommend you to come out of your churches of faith, and to gather into schools of knowledge.”
—Frances Wright (1795–1852)
“The house a woman creates is a Utopia. She can’t help it—can’t help trying to interest her nearest and dearest not in happiness itself but in the search for it.”
—Marguerite Duras (b. 1914)
“And as he sowed, some seed fell on the path, and the birds came and ate it up.”
—Bible: New Testament, Mark 4:4.
