KZPS

KZPS (92.5 FM) is a radio station serving the Dallas/Fort Worth market in Texas. The station is owned and operated by Clear Channel Communications and airs a Texas-themed classic rock format. The station is known as "Lone Star 92.5." The format debuted April 23, 2007. The call letters date back to 1986. In April 2008, KZPS changed back to classic rock, keeping the "Lonestar 92.5" branding.

The station's current format also involves the dropping of conventional 30-second and 60-second ads in favor of sponsored hours with disk jockeys promoting sponsors conversationally. The previous classic rock format was heard on 92.5 HD-2 (HD Radio). 92.5 HD-2 recently switched to an AAA format branded as "The Music Summit" (previously on KDMX HD-2).
