Koprulu Sector - Chau Sara

Chau Sara was a bleak, hard world, one of the fringe colonies created by the Terran Confederacy. Prior to the events of the game Chau Sara was one of the first of the Terran worlds invaded by the Zerg, who seeded its atmosphere with toxic spores and spread its warriors and organic Creep across the surface. In a demo released by Blizzard to advertise for StarCraft, the player commands an invasion to clear the Zerg from Chau Sara. General Duke is present in the third and final demo mission. Confederate response to the invasion was ineffectual in stopping the Zerg, until the sudden arrival of a Protoss fleet led by Executor Tassadar. The planet was sterilized of all life through orbital bombardment.
