Rebuild
Sherwood Forest Hospitals is currently undertaking a £320 million Modernisation of Acute Services which has seen a large reconstruction of the existing site. The first major new building, the Diagnostic Treatment Centre, opened in April 2008. As of April 2010, two of the three towers are occupied.
Maternity Services, including Neonatal and the Sherwood Birthing Unit, will be moving out of their accommodation in the Dukeries Centre to the third tower as Women's & Children's Services in January 2011.
