Facilities
The station has two side platforms, linked by a pedestrian crossing at the down end. The main station building and signal bay are on platform 2, on the western side. A quarry siding is located at the down end of this station, which is used for the 'Apex' quarry product train. A disused goods shed is also located at the station. The station has a manned signal box, being a block point in the Double Line Block railway signalling system.
