Kilgraston School is an independent Roman Catholic boarding and day school for girls aged 2½–18 and day boys aged 2½–9. The school is centred upon a mansion house set in 72 acres (290,000 m2) of parkland, at Bridge of Earn, 3 miles (4.8 km) south of Perth and less than an hour’s drive from Edinburgh. The school has links with the boys' school Merchiston Castle School in Edinburgh and occasionally co-organises socials and functions together.
Kilgraston is organised into four schools: Nursery (ages 2–3 to 5), Preparatory (ages 5–13, up to 9 for boys), Senior School (ages 13–16) and Sixth Form. It is a member of the Girls' Schools Association.

Famous quotes containing the word school:
“Nevertheless, no school can work well for children if parents and teachers do not act in partnership on behalf of the childrens best interests. Parents have every right to understand what is happening to their children at school, and teachers have the responsibility to share that information without prejudicial judgment.... Such communication, which can only be in a childs interest, is not possible without mutual trust between parent and teacher.”
—Dorothy H. Cohen (20th century)
