He married Luned Marion Jacobs (2nd daughter of W.W Jacobs, the famous humorist)and had two daughters: Jennifer Hamilton Jenkin and Honor Bronwen Jenkin. The marriage ended in divorce and his second marriage was to Elizabeth Lenton.
