Arriva Yorkshire Rugby League Dream Team
In 2009 Arriva Yorkshire asked local members of the public to nominate the thirteen best ever rugby league players to have played in West Yorkshire as the 'Arriva Yorkshire Rugby League Dream Team'.
Senior made the final thirteen, along with rugby league greats Trevor Foster MBE, Neil Fox MBE, Albert Goldthorpe, Alan Hardisty, Lewis Jones, Stan Kielty, Roger Millward MBE, Malcolm Reilly, Garry Schofield, David Topliss, Dave Valentine, and Adrian Vowles.
A ceremony was held in August 2009 at The Jungle, the home of the Castleford Tigers. A fleet of new buses were named after all the players.

Famous quotes containing the words league, dream and/or team:
“He will deliver you from six troubles; in seven no harm shall touch you. In famine he will redeem you from death, and in war from the power of the sword. You shall be hidden from the scourge of the tongue, and shall not fear destruction when it comes. At destruction and famine you shall laugh, and shall not fear the wild animals of the earth. For you shall be in league with the stones of the field, and the wild animals shall be at peace with you.”
—Bible: Hebrew, Job 5:19-23.
“Guildenstern. The very substance of the ambitious is merely the shadow of a dream.
Hamlet. A dream itself is but a shadow.”
—William Shakespeare (1564–1616)
“Relying on any one disciplinary approach—time-out, negotiation, tough love, the star system—puts the parenting team at risk. Why? Because children adapt to any method very quickly; today’s effective technique becomes tomorrow’s worn dance.”
—Ron Taffel (20th century)
