Kadans
Kadans or Cadence rampa is a modern meringue popularized in 1962 by gifted Haitian sax player Webert Sicot who called his music cadence in other to differentiate it from compas. Actually both cadence and compas music are the same modern Haitian meringue. From Haïti, cadence became popular in Dominica and the French Antilles of Martinique and Guadeloupe.
