Junsu

Kim Junsu (Hangul: 김준수; Hanja: 金俊秀; born 15 December 1986), also known by his stage name Xiah (pronounced "see-ah") or Xia Junsu, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and stage actor. Best known as a former member of popular South Korean boy band TVXQ, he's currently active as a member of pop group JYJ.

Junsu debuted in 2003 under SM Entertainment, one of South Korea's biggest record labels. As a member of TVXQ, he has released four Korean albums, four Japanese albums, thirty Japanese singles and several Korean singles. In July 2009, Junsu and fellow TVXQ members Kim Jaejoong and Park Yoochun filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment, arguing that their exclusive contracts were unilaterally disadvantageous towards the artists and should be invalidated. The Seoul Central District Court ruled in favor of the three and granted an injunction suspending their contracts in October 2009. The trio subsequently reunited under the moniker JYJ (formerly known as JUNSU/JEJUNG/YUCHUN in Japan). As a member of JYJ, he has released one English language album and one Korean language album, as well as one Japanese language and one Korean language EP.

Junsu began his stage career in 2010 playing Wolfgang Mozart, the lead role in musical Mozart!. The same year, he released a Japanese solo single titled Xiah. In May 2012, he released his first full-length Korean solo studio album, Tarantallegra and followed up the release of the album with a world tour. He plans to return with a second full-length Korean solo album in July 2013.
