JROTC
J.H. Rose has an JROTC program, established upon the merger of Pitt County Schools and Greenville City Schools in the mid 1980s. Its official name is the Rampant Battalion.
The JROTC program is located in the annex, a small building on the school grounds formerly the Greenville Boys and Girls Club.
The program has a long standing tradition of excellence, as proven by its special teams' accomplishments.
