Throughout his time as an actor, Beck has rarely talked to the media, even at the peak of his career in the mid-1980s.
Now aged 69, Beck has over 200 TV/film appearances to his name, in an acting career spanning more than four decades. He has been married to former actress and model Tina Carter since 1971 and they have four children.
