Famous quotes containing the words hampton, roads and/or conference:

To seduce a woman famous for strict morals, religious fervour and the happiness of her marriage: what could possibly be more prestigious?
    —Christopher Hampton (b. 1946)

There is no such thing as nothingness, and zero does not exist. Everything is something. Nothing is nothing. Man lives more by affirmation than by bread.
    Victor Hugo (1802–1885)

Reading maketh a full man; conference a ready man; and writing an exact man.
    Francis Bacon (1561–1626)
