Bahrain Controversy
In 2011, it was revealed that Trippi had signed on to do public relations work for Bahrain following its violent repression of protests by Shia citizens during the Arab Spring. The timing of Trippi's involvement with the Bahraini government coincides with their efforts to buy arms from US manufacturers.
