Jaromil

Denis Roio (also known as Jaromil) is a free software programmer, media artist and activist. He has made significant contributions to the development of multimedia and streaming applications on the Linux platform. He was born in Pescara, Italy, but now lives in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a Ph.D researcher at the Planetary Collegium M-Node of Milano, under the title "Libre Made Flash – Generative Patterns for Alternative Economics", he is teaching at the School of Media Design/Film & New Media NABA in Milano, Italy.
