Japheth /ˈdʒeɪfɛθ/ (Hebrew: יָפֶֿתֿ, יֶפֶֿתֿ Yapheth , Yafet ; Greek: Ἰάφεθ Iapheth ; Latin: Iafeth or Iapetus ; Arabic: يافث) is one of the sons of Noah in the Abrahamic tradition. In Arabic citations, his name is normally given as Yafeth bin Nuh (Japheth son of Noah).
