Once yet again the number of international teams has been increased. The teams still are not licensed although they have their original home, away and goalkeeper kits with emblems and logos resembling their official emblems. However, like ISS Pro 98, player names are misspelled but most of them sound right while pronouncing the names, such as Nigel Martyn being known in the game as 'Martin' (the unlicensed name has the same pronunciation as the real name). However some players had real names. These players include Rafael Marquez, Sol Campbell, David Regis and Maik Taylor. Each team consists of 22 players.
In the ISS Pro Evolution for the very first time club teams have been included (there are 16 clubs in the game, such as FC Barcelona) along with national teams, however they could be played only in new mode Master League, unless you had exported team on the memory card. This version featured 16 different club teams with the "unofficial" city names creating a reference to their real-life equivalents (this has been changed in later versions). Just like national teams, the club teams consisted of 22 players. The line-ups were to reflect the actual squads as of 1998/1999 season, as well as uniforms. Club teams and Master League do not appear in the N64 version.
The stadiums included in ISS Pro Evolution are no longer generic stadiums named in letters order like in previous versions (although there were imitation of the old Wembley Stadium in ISS Pro 98). The game featured 10 different stadiums with fictional names which stand for their real-life equivalents.

Famous quotes containing the word content:
“Quintilian [educational writer in Rome about A.D. 100] hoped that teachers would be sensitive to individual differences of temperament and ability. . . . Beating, he thought, was usually unnecessary. A teacher who had made the effort to understand his pupils individual needs and character could probably dispense with it: I will content myself with saying that children are helpless and easily victimized, and that therefore no one should be given unlimited power over them.”
—C. John Sommerville (20th century)
“Crude men who feel themselves insulted tend to assess the degree of insult as high as possible, and talk about the offense in greatly exaggerated language, only so they can revel to their hearts content in the aroused feelings of hatred and revenge.”
—Friedrich Nietzsche (18441900)
“First it must be known that only a spoken word or a conventional sign is an equivocal or univocal term; therefore a mental content or concept is, strictly speaking, neither equivocal nor univocal.”
—William of Occam (c. 12851349)
