Iowa's men's basketball team plays their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena, a 15,500-seat multi-purpose indoor arena located in Iowa City, Iowa. It opened in 1983 and is also the home of the university's wrestling, women's basketball, and volleyball teams. Prior to playing in Carver-Hawkeye Arena, the Hawkeye men's basketball team played in the Iowa Field House, which is still used today by the school's gymnastics teams.
