International Species Information System

The International Species Information System (ISIS) is an international non-profit organization serving zoos and aquariums worldwide. ISIS provides its members with zoological data collection and sharing software, used by more than 800 zoos and aquariums in almost 80 countries. The ISIS database contains information on 2.4 million animals of 10,000 species. Famous quotes containing the words species, information and/or system:

    Flora Tristan (1803–1844)

As information technology restructures the work situation, it abstracts thought from action.
    Shoshana Zuboff (b. 1951)

    Peter Conrad (b. 1948)
