Idaho Air National Guard
The Idaho Air National Guard (ID ANG) is the aerial force militia of the U.S. State of Idaho. It is, along with the Idaho Army National Guard, an element of the Idaho National Guard.
As state militia units, the units in the Idaho Air National Guard are not in the normal United States Air Force chain of command. They are under the jurisdiction of the Idaho Military Department unless they are federalized by order of the President of the United States. The Idaho Air National Guard is headquartered in Boise, and its commander is currently Brigadier General Bill Shawver.

“The sumptuous age of stars and images is reduced to a few artificial tornado effects, pathetic fake buildings, and childish tricks which the crowd pretends to be taken in by to avoid feeling too disappointed. Ghost towns, ghost people. The whole place has the same air of obsolescence about it as Sunset or Hollywood Boulevard.”
—Jean Baudrillard (b. 1929)
“Just so before we’re international,
We’re national and act as nationals.”
—Robert Frost (1874–1963)
“Those that I fight I do not hate,
Those that I guard I do not love.”
—William Butler Yeats (1865–1939)
