Hungry Bear Restaurant is located inside Critter Country at Disneyland Park. It is an outdoor dining restaurant which includes two stories of seating along the Rivers of America surrounded by pine trees. The restaurant serves American cuisine such as cheeseburgers, sweet potato fries, onion rings and funnel cake.
The restaurant is themed to the Country Bear Jamboree, but when it closed down, the Hungry Bear kept the name. It has things that all other Disneyland restaurants have: color-changing straws, kids meals, a theme, and food.
Famous quotes containing the words hungry, bear and/or restaurant:
“Ive stayed in the front yard all my life.
I want a peek at the back
Where its rough and untended and hungry weed grows.
A girl gets sick of a rose.”
—Gwendolyn Brooks (b. 1917)
“The service a man renders his friend is trivial and selfish, compared with the service he knows his friend stood in readiness to yield him, alike before he had begun to serve his friend, and now also. Compared with that good-will I bear my friend, the benefit it is in my power to render him seems small.”
—Ralph Waldo Emerson (18031882)
“A restaurant is a fantasya kind of living fantasy in which diners are the most important members of the cast.”
—Warner Leroy, U.S. restaurateur, founder of Maxwells Plum restaurant, New York City. New York Times (July 9, 1976)
