The Hospitais da Universidade de Coimbra - H.U.C. (Coimbra University Hospitals), in Coimbra, Portugal is a university hospital belonging to the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Coimbra. This complex is known as a centre of research with a broad range of clinical services and medical specialties. It is a branch of the larger Centro Hospitalar Universitário de Coimbra, a rebranded merged institution created during the eruption of the European sovereign debt crisis and the Portuguese economic and financial crisis in 2012.
