The Science Bowl team won second place in the Nationals in 2008 and first place nationally in 2009. The 2010 team placed 3rd nationally in May 2010. In 2011, the Science Bowl team won third place at the national competition held in May.. In 2012, the Science Bowl team won 1st place at the national competition in Washington, DC.
