Famous quotes containing the words cold war, cold, war and/or history:

The Cold War began with the division of Europe. It can only end when Europe is whole.

The cold wet winds ever blowing,
    And the shadowy hazel grove

    Theodore Roosevelt (1858–1919)

It takes a great deal of history to produce a little literature.
    Henry James (1843–1916)
