Web Sites

The aim of graphic design is to make a web site understandable, memorable and attractive to the end user as well to present its content in a user friendly fashion . The web dates back to the early 1980s at CERN, a European high energy physics research facility. Tim Berners-Lee who did the initial development stage was interested in the ability to link academic papers electronically and to utilize the internet in order to correspond with people in other laboratories around the world. He is credited with the construction of the first website in August 1991.
