Exercise Training and HRV
Exercise training may decrease cardiovascular mortality and sudden cardiac death. Regular exercise training is also thought to modify cardiac autonomic control. Individuals who exercise regularly have a 'training bradycardia' (i.e., low resting heart rate) and generally have higher HRV than sedentary individuals.

Famous quotes containing the words exercise and/or training:
“New York is a meeting place for every race in the world, but the Chinese, Armenians, Russians, and Germans remain foreigners. So does everyone except the blacks. There is no doubt but that the blacks exercise great influence in North America, and, no matter what anyone says, they are the most delicate, spiritual element in that world.”
—Federico García Lorca (18981936)
“I am not a suffragist, nor do I believe in careers for women, especially a career in factory and mill where most working women have their careers. A great responsibility rests upon womanthe training of children. This is her most beautiful task.”
—Mother Jones (18301930)
