Student Life
The Hare School has around 1000 students in attendance every year. Each of the classes range from one to ten students, and each class is part of one of two sections, A or B, each of which contain around 40 students. Class 11 and 12 are divided into three 'streams' known as Science, Arts (Humanities) and Commerce.
A football tournament is held during the summer at the school. Intra-section competitions as well as inter-section and inter-class ones ensure that almost every student gets a chance to play at the official tournament. During the winter, a cricket tournament of smaller scope is held. The school's largest festival is the Saraswati Puja, which is organised by students of the Hare School.

Famous quotes containing the words student and/or life:
“Adolescents have the right to be themselves. The fact that you were the belle of the ball, the captain of the lacrosse team, the president of your senior class, Phi Beta Kappa, or a political activist doesnt mean that your teenager will be or should be the same....Likewise, the fact that you were a wallflower, uncoordinated, and a C student shouldnt mean that you push your child to be everything you were not.”
—Laurence Steinberg (20th century)
“Take a timber
That you shall find lies in the cellar, charred
Among the raspberries, and hew and shape it
For a doorsill or other corner piece
In a new cottage on the ancient spot.
The life is not yet all gone out of it.
And come and make your summer dwelling here....”
—Robert Frost (18741963)
