Hadley Corner - History

History

The Hadley Corner location was previously a floral store with a large greenhouse, but that had been defunct for many years. The shopping center was developed by New England Retail Properties Inc. Aldi (the supermarket chain) purchased a 2-acre (8,100 m2) land parcel for $1.55 million for a new store. Construction commenced in the summer of 2010. The store is expected to open in the fall of 2010.

    Umberto Eco (b. 1932)

There is no example in history of a revolutionary movement involving such gigantic masses being so bloodless.
    Leon Trotsky (1879–1940)

Systematic philosophical and practical anti-intellectualism such as we are witnessing appears to be something truly novel in the history of human culture.
    Johan Huizinga (1872–1945)
