In Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ
Early in the sequel series Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ (episode 12), the AEUG independent task force (also known as the Gundam Team) brought the wrecked Mk. II back into service. The suit was used throughout much of the series against the technologically superior Axis/Neo Zeon forces. At the end of the second Neo Zeon movement, it was once again critically damaged. The unit was assigned to Elle Viano who served as its primary pilot.
