There are a number of different series, including Chwedlau o Gymru (Legends from Wales series), Cyfres Llyffantod (Hoppers series), and Cyfres Clwb Cysgu Cŵl (Sleepover Club series).

From 2000 to 2012, at least six Gwasg Gomer publications have won one of the two annual Welsh-language Tir na n-Og Awards.

With a few exceptions, the critics of children’s books are remarkably lenient souls.... Most of us assume there is something good in every child; the critics go from this to assume there is something good in every book written for a child. It is not a sound theory.
    Katharine S. White (1892–1977)

It goes without saying that you should never have more children than you have car windows.
    Erma Bombeck (20th century)
